Fruitcake is a liquor-soaked holiday classic filled with spices and dried fruits such as apple, pear and apricot. It is often made a few weeks or even months ahead of time to allow the liquor to seep into the cake and properly blend with the other flavors. Chop the nuts and dried fruits into a large clean bowl. You can use a prepared dried fruit mixture available in most supermarkets, or blend your own to create an individual cake, balance the mixture to your preferences (I love more raisins, cranberries,prunes and less chopped dates in mine).

Steps to make Dry fruit cake:
  1. In a bowl add sugar and oil.mix it.than add using Channi add plain flour, baking soda and baking powder.
  2. Mix all ingredients with cut and fold method.than add milk.lastly add dry fruits with coated with 1/2 tsp plain flour..(reason for coating that dryfruits doesn't drink). And add saffron.
  3. Pre heat oven for 10 mins at 180 degree.In a cake tin or bread tin spread butter paper at bottom then spread all the cake mixer. At the top of cake spread leftover dryfruits randomly.
  4. Now put it into oven for 35 to 40 min at 180 degree.when cake gets bake sprinkle powder sugar.
  5. Ready to serve.
