Made with wholesome, real ingredients, this fruit cake is moist and perfectly balanced in flavor. Combine dried fruits, candied ginger and both zests. Place fruit and liquid in a non-reactive pot with the sugar,. Chop the nuts and dried fruits into a large clean bowl.

Instructions to make Dry fruit cake:
  1. Put oil and condensed milk in a bowl and beat them. Seive all dry ingredients and add this mixture in the condensed milk mixture.
  2. Now add dry fruits and milk in it and mix it well and make a smooth batter. Grease the cake tin with butter and put the cake batter in it and spread the some almond flakes. Now take a kadai and preheat the kadai on medium flame for 10 minutes and after 10 minutes put the stand in the kadai and put the cake tin on it and cover it.
  3. Bake it for 30-35 minutes and after 30-35 minutes turn off the gas stove and let it cool down and cut it. Your dry fruit cake is ready to serve.

Place fruit and liquid in a non-reactive pot with the sugar,. Chop the nuts and dried fruits into a large clean bowl. You can use a prepared dried fruit mixture available in most supermarkets, or blend your own to create an individual cake, balance the mixture to your preferences (I love more raisins, cranberries,prunes and less chopped dates in mine). Grate the rind of lemon and orange and keep it aside. Fruitcake can be tasty if fresh, dried fruits are used and the moisture is retained.
