Like any other Christmas fruit cake/pudding it's rich with spices, loaded with dried fruits and nuts, and moist with fruity liquid. Yes, this is not a typical X-mas cake, but I am extremely happy with the result. Perhaps it is the simplest yet yummiest fruit cake on earth using suji or semolina.

  4. Ak cup souji daal kar achi tarah se mix kar lay.
  5. Bitter ko 2 hours kay liye rakh daay.
  6. Baking pan ko oil se grees kar lay
  7. Phir tuti fruti daal daay.
  8. Baking pan ma bitter daal kay tuti fruti bhi daal daay.
  9. Baking soda daal kar mix kar lay.
  10. Ak patili ko phaly se garam karny kay liye rakh daay low flame par.
  11. Patili ma baking pan rakh kar dakh daay or half hour kay liye rakh daay.
  12. Patili ko khol kay dekhay
  13. Mazeed 10 minutes kay liye chor daay takay bhol jaya
  14. Baking pan ma se nikal lay.
  15. Triangle shape ma cut kar lay or tea kay sath serve kary.

In another bowl, cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. This cake is a rich, dark, moist fruit cake, very flavorful at Christmas. Try icing with almond paste for a more festive touch. This recipe is started in October or November so as to let it mellow before the holidays. I remember very well my mother storing her fruit cake in an old butter churn that belonged to my grandmother and great grandmother.
