To make the cookies, either in an electric stand mixer or a large bowl with an electric hand whisk, cream together the butter, sugar & vanilla extract until light. Steps to make Vanilla heart cookies:
  1. First sieve the all-purpose flour add, baking powder, salt & some vanilla essence 1/2 teaspoon.
  2. Mix the icing sugar & butter must be room temperature then whisk both to form a creamy texture then add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence.
  3. Then gradually add the flour in cream & mix only till it’s crumbled form dough then divide the dough into 2:1 ratio.
  4. Then add in the larger portion again divide into two portions add liquid red food colour 1 drop in the dough dash 1/2 teaspoon milk to bind it do the same with the green dough then roll both of them in a warp roll then freeze it for 20 minutes each.
  5. Once done take the left plane white dough divide into two balls then roll it with 1/2 inch thickness keeping in the red roll & green roll individually.
  6. Then start preparing cookies using desired shapes I make all kinds of designs then once I cut the cookies again set in a plate on butter paper & freeze for 25 minutes.
  7. Besides preheat the Kadai for 10 minutes then add the cookies plate cover it & let it cook for around 20 minutes or till slightly golden in corners. Make sure not to overcook it will be very hard.
  8. Once cooked let it cool to room temperature then set on a wire rack for about an hour to set well.
  9. The deliciously awesome vanilla cookies are ready store it in air tight container. Enjoy your snack time.
