Rosemary & Thyme Focaccia is fantastic paired with an assortment of cheese, nuts, and sliced fruit as a casual Thanksgiving Eve dinner. It's lovely combined with sourdough and rye bread for stuffing a turkey on the big feast day. And we also use it for cold turkey sandwiches and hot, crispy, melty cheese-filled turkey paninis.

  1. Take 2 1/2 cup plain four
  2. Take 2 tsp yeast
  3. Prepare 1 sea salt
  4. Get 1 tbsp freash thyme-chopped
  5. Get 1 tbsp freash rosemary-chopped
  6. Get 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Zest the lime and divide the zest into two equal parts. Be careful not to divide the zest unevenly as it will ruin the focaccia. There are just a few main steps in making a fresh batch of homemade focaccia bread. Cook olive oil, garlic and rosemary in a small saucepan to infuse the flavours together.

Steps to make Rosemary and thyme focaccia:
  1. Sift flour into a large bowl,stir in yeast and 1tsp sea salt. Add chopped herbs to flour and then using a wooden spoon or dough hook on your electric beater,beat in the olive oil and enough warm water(about 250-300ml)to make a soft dough. Remove from the bowl onto a floured board and knead for ten minutes.
  2. Brush a clean bowl with oil, put dough in and cover with a damp cloth or plastic warp. Leave the dough in a.warm place for a least an hour until the dough has doubled in size.
  3. Knock back the dough by punching it once or twice to let the air escape and divied into four portions. Roll out dough in oval shapes that are thick. Place on a oiled tray and bake in an oven at 220°C for 15-20 or until just bown.
  4. This is great for picnics

There are just a few main steps in making a fresh batch of homemade focaccia bread. Cook olive oil, garlic and rosemary in a small saucepan to infuse the flavours together. Because rosemary and focaccia are a classic combination (and because fresh herbs make everything better!), I sprinkle it generously with rosemary. Then, I dot it with roasted garlic and finish it off with flaky sea salt and red pepper flakes. Flecked with red and green, this focaccia bread is a simple, yet impressive, holiday side dish.
