This is the best french toast recipe I've ever tried. The only change I made was to use Pepperidge Farm's French Toast Bread. This bread is thick and very dense. During the cooking time the bread rises with a slightly crispy outside.

  1. Get 4 slices, classic tea cake
  2. Make ready 2 ,eggs
  3. Make ready 3 tbsp, full cream milk
  4. Prepare Sugar, as taste (or 2tbsp)
  5. Take Oil, for fry

This classic French Toast is a delicious and easy recipe to make with only a few ingredients. Lay the bread slices in one layer (it's OK if they overlap a little) on a baking sheet. The batter for French toast is basically an egg custard. It's a mixture of eggs and milk that are mixed together.

Steps to make Classic French toast:
  1. Take a bowl, add eggs, sugar and milk.
  2. Mix throughly.
  3. Take classic tea cake slices and coat with egg mixture.
  4. Heat up the tawa pour some oil and fry toast until becomes nice golden brown.
  5. Classic French toast are ready to serve. Serve with tea. You can also serve with vanilla ice-cream.
