Hey everyone, it’s Brad, welcome to my recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a distinctive dish, sausage, vegetables and lentils. One of my favorites. This time, I will make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Baked Sausage With Lentils And Vegetables. Combine lentils and water in medium saucepan. This beautiful dish gets its light, summery flavor from a combination of fresh lamb sausage and French lentils. The delicious legumes we've selected for this dish are grown in Le Puy France, which is famous not only for it's delicate lace, but also for its rich, sweeping (and incredibly fertile) volcanic soil.

  6. Get 1 tbsp thyme
  7. Take Chicken stock pot
  8. Take 100 ml water
  9. Get Olive oil
  10. Take Protein
  11. Get Either 4 sausages, 2 portions of cod, 2 chicken breast etc- cooked however you like

By the way, don't be put off by the celery if you're not a fan. Combine water, lentils and onion in a saucepan over medium heat. Add sliced sausage, and season with cumin, salt. Serve with cooked green leafy vegetables, or warmed, crusty bread.

Instructions to make Sausage, vegetables and lentils:
  1. Chop the carrots and celery into 1cm cubes, slice the leek.
  2. Heat some olive oil in a large frying pan and gently fry the veg, with the thyme, for 10 mins.
  3. Add the lentils, stock cube and water and cook down for another 5-10 mins until the veg are cooked and water reduces down
  4. Serve the lentils and veg with the sausages.

Add sliced sausage, and season with cumin, salt. Serve with cooked green leafy vegetables, or warmed, crusty bread.
