  7. Take Tablespoon vegan stock
  8. Get 40 g black olives
  9. Get Oregano

Aside from the healthy lentils and tomatoes, you will also need some stock. If you have stock in the freezer, now is the time to use it. Place the washed lentils into a large saucepan or stockpot cover with the stock. The lentil meatballs ("meatballs" or lentil balls or whatever you wanna call them) are made with lentils (surprise! j/k), pecans, and sun dried tomatoes.

Instructions to make Tomato and red lentil marinara:
  1. Chop up the garlic, onion and carrot. I had some celery that needing using up but that’s not a requirement.
  2. Once the veg has started to soften add the rinsed lentils to the pan.
  3. Soon after add the cans of chopped tomatoes and the stock to the pan.
  4. Should be smelling pretty choice by now.
  5. Chop the olives and mix them in.
  6. About 5 minutes before serving stir in the oregano and basil. Fresh is best if you have it.
  7. Keep cooking until the lentils are cooked through. Should be about 30 minutes in total.

Place the washed lentils into a large saucepan or stockpot cover with the stock. The lentil meatballs ("meatballs" or lentil balls or whatever you wanna call them) are made with lentils (surprise! j/k), pecans, and sun dried tomatoes. Top some spaghetti with the marinara and meatballs and you're ready for your Lady and the Tramp moment. We eat a lot of red tomato sauces over here. Add tomatoes and stock along with the dried lime.
