The ingredients needed to make Beef Stew:
  1. Get 500 g beef
  2. Get 2 carrots
  3. Prepare 10 green beans
  4. Prepare 1 tsp garlic paste
  5. Get 1/2 tsp nutmeg powder
  6. Prepare 1 tsp Oysters sauce
  7. Take 3-4 tbs sweet soy sauce
  8. Make ready to taste Salt
  9. Prepare Black / white pepper
  10. Make ready 500-750 ml water
  11. Prepare 2 tbs vegetable oil
Steps to make Beef Stew:
  1. Slice the beef according to your preference and boil it with salt and garlic paste, use only 500ml water at this stage and let it simmer
  2. Meantime, cut the veggies into batonnet, clean them and set aside
  3. Check the beef, let it simmer until it's perfectly tender, you may add more water until you reach the tenderness that you like
  4. Once simmer, add the nutmeg powder, salt, pepper, oyster sauce and sweet soy sauce
  5. Add the vegetables as well and stir it well for a minute
  6. Add some oil and let the water reduced to almost 90% - don't let the water completely dried up
  7. Remove from stove and serve it with mashed potatoes or steamed rice. Enjoy!
