The ingredients needed to make Weetabix barfi:
  1. Get 8 Weetabix crushed
  2. Take 250 g butter
  3. Make ready 250 g Digestive biscuits crushed
  4. Prepare 1 tablespoon ghee
  5. Prepare 1 bowl desiccated coconut
  6. Prepare 1 tin sweetened condensed milk (400g)
  7. Get 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  8. Get few strands of Saffron
  9. Get Flaked almond and pistachio for decoration
Steps to make Weetabix barfi:
  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together - Melt butter and ghee on slow flame - When melted add condensed milk and stir until it blends with butter. - Switch off gas
  2. Add all the dry ingredients and mix well. Flatten in a greased tray or thali. - Decorate with almond and pistachio - Leave it overnight in fridge to set and cut into pieces.
