  7. Take 2 tbsp purée of custard apple

When milk comes to boil add lemon juice to the milk. After the milk curdles drain the milk in a thin cotton cloth. Bring all the sides of the cloth together press with hands and drain all the water and keep cova (paneer) aside. Sharifa Kheer or Custard Apple Kheer is one luscious dessert which you can relish with every bite.

Instructions to make Instant Custard Apple Kalakand:
  1. Bring boil the milk in a wok and add vinegar to 1/2 cup of water. Now add this mixture to the milk in intervals so that milk can curdle completely. Keep stirring continuously.
  2. Now strain the homemade cottage cheese and wash it well with cold water. Let it sit for few min so that all water can drop off. Now mash it with the help of fork to get granulated texture.
  3. Now take a wok add milkmaid and heat it. Now add crumbled cottage cheese and mix well. Add cardamom powder and soon mixture will start to get thicken. Add 2 tbsp custard apple purée to it and mix well. Grease a square baking tray and transfer our ready kalakand mixture and set well. Cover and Keep it aside.let it cool for 30 mins and cut into desired shapes.Sprinkle chopped pistachios o top it.
