Easiest Way to Prepare Homemade Chapatis

Hello everybody, it’s me, Dave, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a distinctive dish, chapatis. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I am going to make it a little bit tasty. This will be really delicious.

Chapatis is one of the most well liked of current trending foods in the world. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions every day. They’re nice and they look fantastic. Chapatis is something which I have loved my entire life.

Chapatis were also introduced to other parts of the world by immigrants from the Indian subcontinent, particularly by Indian merchants to Central Asia, Southeast Asia, East Africa, and the Caribbean. This is a recipe for Swahili chapatis. I found the traditional way tedious and long and so i tried to find a new way to make chapatis fast but still soft. Chapatis are Indian breads, also called rotis.

To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have chapatis using 5 ingredients and 12 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Chapatis:
  1. Make ready 1 kg Wheat flour
  2. Take 1/2 tspnSalt
  3. Make ready 2 TbspnSugar
  4. Take Oil
  5. Take Water

You can either make these chapatis without layers - plain chapati or with layers - Flaky Chapati. Though the later need some practice to master it once you master the skill, it becomes less work. Adding too much of water initially will make it. Even when I'm cooking rice too.

Steps to make Chapatis:
  1. Mix your flour with dry ingredients first.
  2. Use warm water to kneed the dough
  3. Make well soft dough and cover for a while.
  4. Cut and roll using your rolling board and pin…
  5. Brush with oil and roll into sizeable balls as you place aside untill you are done
  6. Heat them one by one on your pan
  7. Use oil at a time as you make nice circular shapes
  8. Do this repeatedly untill you are done and ensure to obtain a golden brown color
  9. Cover up with a lid into a clean bowl or use clingfilm paper to wrap it.this makes them more softer
  10. Serve with hot tea or something like beans as I used it……

Adding too much of water initially will make it. Even when I'm cooking rice too. Might as well go all in and add some potatoes and noodles to the carb-fest. Storing chapatis Line a bowl with cotton towel. Place the cooked chapati on the bowl and cover with a towel.
