Mango Jelly Easy Mango Jelly - A Healthy Dessert. I have been looking for some healthier dessert recipes. I often have fruit with yoghurt and also baked apples, both of which I really like and are excellent fruit desserts. However I recently saw an article on making your own jelly in a magazine and as it is full of fruit, I thought I would have a go.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can have mango jelly dessert using 6 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Mango Jelly Dessert:
  1. Take 2 Ripe Mangoes *1 for puree and 1 for topping
  2. Get 1 cup Boiling Water
  3. Take 1/4 cup Caster Sugar
  4. Get 1 & 1/2 teaspoons Gelatine Powder
  5. Get 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  6. Take 1/4 cup Thickened Cream

Almost all desserts will be around mango, whether it's a mango mousse, mango pudding, jello or plain custard. As a kid, one of the most common desserts during mango season would be mango custard which actually is just classic French vanilla pastry cream with mango puree. Place mangoes and cream cheese in a food processor; process until blended. Here is the gorgeous vegan no bake mango dessert - Mango Coconut Jello or Panna Cotta or Woon Moongwang (in Thai).

Steps to make Mango Jelly Dessert:
  1. Place Gelatine Powder and Caster Sugar in a large heat-proof bowl. Carefully pour in the Boiling Water and stir until Gelatine and Sugar dissolve well. Set aside to cool.
  2. Peel and stone 1 Mango, cut roughly and place all pulp and juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add Lemon Juice and Mango Puree to gelatine mixture, stir to combine, then add Cream and stir well.
  4. Pour the mixture into serving glasses and place them in the fridge and leave to set.
  5. Before serving, decorate with the remaining Mango. I simply cut the Mango into small pieces and placed them on top.

Place mangoes and cream cheese in a food processor; process until blended. Here is the gorgeous vegan no bake mango dessert - Mango Coconut Jello or Panna Cotta or Woon Moongwang (in Thai). This delicacy is prepared with Mango puree and coconut milk and of course with sugar and the jello is set using agar agar powder making it perfect for all vegetarians and vegans. How to make mango pudding: Dissolve a packet of gelatin in boiled hot water. Stir in some sugar and a pinch of salt.
