  4. Get One-eighth teaspoon saffron
  5. Take Half cup almond flakes
  6. Take Enough water
  7. Get Cinnamon powder
  8. Take 50 grams butter

  2. Wash the and drain the rice. Cook the rice in enough water until completely cooked and grains open like porridge. If the water finish add some boiling water during cooking rice.
  3. Now add sugar. Continue for 15 minutes.
  4. Add butter, almonds, rose flower water and saffron. Continue about 15 minutes. You may need add some boiling water if shole zard is too thick.
  5. Turn off the heat. Pour shold zard in serving bowl. Sprinke cinnamon powder on top.
  6. Serve it in room temprature.

Allow to brew while the rice cooks. Add sugar to the rice and cook for another half hour until the water and rice become dense. Sholeh Zard, Persian saffron rice pudding, is a golden, fragrant and delicious way to switch up your traditional rice pudding game.
