This vegan crumble topping recipe is really only vegan because I use margarine instead of butter. If you want to make it non-vegan you can use whatever butter you have on hand.   1. Preheat oven to 175 C
  2. Chop the fruit into chunks as necessary. Lay in a flat ovenproof dish. Add the water and any other flavouring eg rose water.
  3. Mix the topping ingredients together.
  4. Spoon the topping over the fruit.
  5. Bake until crumble is golden brown and fragrant - about 25 mins.
