Though its a very easy recipe, I thought to share this post because of it simplicity and can be easily adapted to any recipe with ones own creativity.

To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have china grass dessert using 5 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make China Grass dessert:
  1. Get 1 packet/ 8 grams China Grass
  2. Take 750 ml Milk
  3. Take 200 gms Sugar or as per taste
  4. Get As required Trutti fruiti
  5. Make ready As required Food gel colours,Green, pink

Grass jelly is a very common and classic summer dessert among Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, mainland China and southeast Asia. In Cantonese, it called leung fan (涼粉). On the other hand, in Taiwan grass jelly known as xian cao (仙草). Agar agar pudding recipe - China grass (agar agar) is a natural vegetable gelatin extracted from sea weed.

Steps to make China Grass dessert:
  1. Take a nonstick Kadhai pour 750 milk, bring to boil, take another pan add 130 ml water add China Grass.
  2. Cook 10 minutes until China Grass dissolve transfer China grass into the milk Cook 5 minutes.
  3. Take 3 bowls And transfer milk in equally.
  4. In 1 bowl add 2 drops of green colour & 2nd bowl add pink gel colour 3 rd part is already white no need to add colour
  5. Now take muffins moulds pour pink colour liquid milk with the help of spoon And set mould 10 minutes in refrigerator. After that pour white part of milk then refrigerate another 10 minutes. After that pour green colour liquid with the help of spoon Set pudding 1 hour. Serve chilled, Garnish with truti fruiti.

On the other hand, in Taiwan grass jelly known as xian cao (仙草). Agar agar pudding recipe - China grass (agar agar) is a natural vegetable gelatin extracted from sea weed. It is white and semi translucent sold in the form of strips or powder and used in making jellies, puddings and custards. You can add it whole as shown in the video. Agar Agar known as China grass in India is a dried crispy vegetable gelatin used for making pudding, jelly and custards.
