  9. Prepare 7-8 thick cucumber and carrots sticks 3” long
  10. Take 1-2 chopped green chillies

Steamed dumpling dough is great for vegetarian dumplings and dumplings filling with more vegetables (for example pork dumplings with cabbage). The larger wrapper makes the process easier, and you can add more vegetables into the dumplings to make them healthier. Steamed dumplings are easy to make and delicious without any oil or masala made of split black gram. Urad dhal in English is known as split black gram and as well goes by what they are, dhuli dal, dhuli urad, maa ki dal, white lentils or white urad dal.

Instructions to make Steamed Paneer Dumplings:
  1. Combine all ingredients except baking powder.Mix properly and add little water.Now give a boil and allow the mixture to get cold.
  2. Divide the mixture into equal portions. Roll out each portion into small balls.
  3. Cut sticks of cucumber and carrots into 3” long.
  4. Steam the balls into steamer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Cool slightly and pierce each dumpling on the cucumber πŸ₯’ and carrots πŸ₯• sticks.Serve immediately.

Steamed dumplings are easy to make and delicious without any oil or masala made of split black gram. Urad dhal in English is known as split black gram and as well goes by what they are, dhuli dal, dhuli urad, maa ki dal, white lentils or white urad dal. Dhuli urad dal is a preferred lentil amongst native dishes in North Indian areas like Punjab. If you boil, add some oil to the water and don't overcrowd the pan–make them in batches. If you like, you can fry the dumplings in a skillet or wok to brown them before serving.
